A strapless bridal gown with a sweetheart neckline, built around fabric flowers rather than embroidery. The petals are cut, shaped and stitched one at a time, then massed across the bust and down over one hip so the decoration falls diagonally instead of sitting in a symmetrical panel. Between them run narrow strips of ivory lace and small seed beads.

The skirt is layered soft tulle, wide but not stiff. Laid flat it opens into a full circle, which is why the gown holds a shape on the floor when she sits and collapses quietly when she stands. A plain tulle veil is worn with it so nothing competes with the flowers.
