About the house

A fashion house built on heritage, guided by intention.

Amman, since 1994.

Hanan Bakri is a luxury fashion house in Amman, Jordan, specialising in couture, ready-to-wear, image consulting and personalised styling experiences.

The house

Fashion is not only what you wear. It is how you feel when you live in it. Couture thinking belongs in every corner of a woman’s life: from the most cinematic evening to the quietest morning, the same standard of craftsmanship applies. Patient hands, precise fit, and garments made to be lived in, not worn once.

In her words

I design for the woman who knows her worth, and dresses to remind the world.

Hanan Bakri, founder · Amman, since 1994

Hanan Bakri.

A designer who has spent thirty years insisting that fashion can hold emotion, memory and intention all at once. From a single atelier in Amman in 1994, she built a couture house known for private, intentional work shaped around the woman who wears it.

In the press

Selected coverage.

A small selection of editorial coverage across regional and international press.

Vogue Arabia · Issue 86

Bakri’s quiet command of architectural tailoring has made her atelier one of the few destinations in the region for serious couture.

Editor’s note, 2025

Harper’s Bazaar Arabia · 2024

There is a discipline in her work that recalls the great Parisian houses, but the soul is unmistakably Arab.
