A strapless scarlet ballgown cut in heavy pure silk, and the least decorated thing we make. There is no beading on the body at all. The whole effect comes from one construction: a deep folded flounce that runs across the bust, splits at the centre into a narrow V, and then falls forward over the hip like a collar that has slipped down.

Underneath it the skirt is enormous. The silk is stiff enough to stand away from the leg on its own, so the gown keeps a clean bell shape without any net beneath it, and the train pools rather than drags.
