A strapless gown in sand-coloured tulle, cut as a wide A-line from a high empire waist so the skirt starts under the bust and falls straight to the floor with no shaping at the hip.

A band of pale beading sits across the bust, and below it the tulle is scattered with small flat petals in gold and pale blue. They are placed in a loose vertical drift down one side of the skirt, densest at the middle and thinning both ways, which is why the pattern reads as scattered rather than as a border. Nothing is repeated.
