A three-piece suit in pearl ivory satin: a single-button jacket with a peak lapel, a buttoned waistcoat cut to the same length as the jacket's waist, and wide-leg trousers with a pressed crease.

The lapel is the piece of work. It is cut wide and faced in the same satin, so it catches light differently from the body of the jacket at every angle and reads as a separate colour without being one. The waistcoat under it has a V front and no lapel of its own, which keeps three layers from crowding the neck. One ivory fabric rose is pinned at the lapel and comes off.
