Palazzo Visconti Bridal BallgownBridal Couture · Hanan Bakri
An ivory silk ballgown from the Palazzo Visconti sitting, photographed only from behind, which is the view this gown was built for. The back is cut into a deep V that runs almost to the waist, with two narrow straps crossing above it and a plain edge finish so nothing interrupts the opening.
From the waist down the skirt is pressed into deep folds that hold their own weight, and the train runs long and unbroken across the floor. There is no surface decoration on the silk anywhere. Over it falls a cathedral veil in fine tulle scattered with small crystals, worn with a flowered crown.
We hold only this one frame of the gown, so anything we told you about the front would be a guess. Come and see the toile in Amman, or write on WhatsApp and we will send you the atelier photographs.
