An ivory jumpsuit with a folded band across the shoulders instead of a neckline. The band sits off both arms, is doubled over on itself so the edge is a fold rather than a seam, and dips to a shallow V at the centre where a black velvet bow with a small fabric rose is set.

That bow is the only dark thing on the piece and it marks the exact centre line. Below it the bodice is fitted and plain to the waist, and the trousers are cut very wide with a split opening at the centre front that shows black lining as she walks, so the ivory reads as a skirt until it moves.
