Eternal Elegance Atelier StoryBridal Couture · Hanan Bakri

The plainest bridal gown in the house, and the hardest to cut. There is no lace, no beading and no applied decoration anywhere on it. It is fine tulle over a blush lining, gathered by hand across the whole bodice so the folds converge at one hip and then run out again toward the knee, which is where all the shaping lives.

The neckline is a wide folded band that sits off both shoulders and holds itself open, with long fitted sleeves below it. From the knee the tulle releases into a fluted skirt and a soft train that keeps moving after she stops.

Draping like this is done on the body, in the room, over several sittings. It is the atelier story we tell brides who want no ornament at all. Message us on WhatsApp in Amman.
