A short evening dress in chartreuse, on thin straps, and the only piece in the line that is hand painted before it is embroidered. The base is sheer. Over it we work pink and gold floral beading and lace that climbs diagonally across the body, and the painting underneath shows through between the motifs rather than behind them.

Ostrich feathers trim the neckline and then reappear at the hem, where they are cut to an uneven length so the skirt finishes ragged rather than level. A short green underlayer sits beneath, and the beaded lace hangs lower than it does at the sides.
