A black blouse in sheer chiffon, built entirely from ruffles. They run in two vertical panels down the front, reappear at the shoulder line, and finish the cuffs, which are flared wide over the hand rather than closed at the wrist.

The collar stands high and is pleated into a tight band at the throat. Set against it is a black velvet bow, and on the bow a cluster of cut crystals with two white feathers laid across them, which is the only pale thing on the whole garment and the reason the black does not read as flat.

The chiffon is transparent, so it is made with a matching camisole cut to whatever coverage you want. It is worn open over trousers as easily as tucked, and the collar can be lowered a full band if a high neck is not for you. Message the atelier on WhatsApp and we will fit both layers in Amman.
