A two-piece in three colours. The top is strapless, cut in horizontal black and ivory stripes that are matched across every seam so the bands run unbroken around the body, and it breaks at the natural waist into a stiff pleated peplum. At the centre of the waistband sits one short red panel, the only red above the hip.

The trousers are that red, cut wide and straight with a pressed crease, and long enough to break over the shoe. The proportion is deliberate: everything above the waist is horizontal and everything below it is vertical.
