A two-piece in blush satin: a long-sleeved blouse with a wide pussy bow tied at the throat, and high-waisted trousers cut straight and wide from the hip down.

The blouse is cut generously through the shoulder and gathered into a plain cuff, so the sleeve has room without a pleat at the head. The bow is a separate length of the same satin, sewn in at the collar and long enough to tie loosely and sit off centre. On the trousers there is a pressed crease running the full length of each leg, which is the only structure in the piece and the reason a soft satin holds a line at all.
