An evening gown in iridescent blue silk that changes value with every step: the same cloth reads teal in one frame and near silver in the next, because the weave carries two colours and the light picks one at a time.

The cut is asymmetric. One shoulder is bare, the other carries a beaded strap, and the beading continues across the bust in a panel of hand-set crystal before stopping abruptly at the ribs. Below that the silk is draped over one hip and released into a cascade of ruffles that runs down the front of the skirt, so the fabric is doing all the work and the surface stays plain.
